Financial App

The project involves creating a modern banking ecosystem consisting of both a mobile and a web application. Both solutions are designed to provide a consistent user experience regardless of the device. The mobile app focuses on the speed of performing key operations - such as payments, balance overview, and card management - while the web version expands these capabilities with deeper analytics, advanced settings, and comprehensive management of financial products. The entire system is built on a unified design system and a modular interface, enabling smooth navigation and personalization.

The project involved creating a modern, multi-platform banking ecosystem that combines the simplicity of a mobile application with the extensive capabilities of a web version. The goal was to provide users with a consistent, intuitive, and secure experience regardless of the device. A customer needs analysis was conducted, a scalable component system was designed, and an information architecture was developed to fit various usage contexts. Key processes - such as login, account management, and transaction execution - were simplified and unified across platforms. The result was a complete ecosystem enabling quick mobile actions and in-depth financial management in the browser. The project significantly improved user satisfaction, increased activity in digital channels, and strengthened the bank’s image as innovative and customer-oriented.

icon Challenges

Increased engagement thanks to multi-platform accessibility.

Strengthened competitive advantage through the ability to use the application in any context - quick mobile actions + advanced operations in the browser.

Growth in the number of customers shifting their operations to digital channels.

Reduced service costs thanks to greater self-service.

Refreshed perception of the bank as a modern and technologically advanced institution.

icon Project Goals

Ensure a consistent user experience between the web and mobile versions (transfer the design systemfrom the mobile application).

Facilitate brand image management with simple tools for claiming profiles, publishing content, and responding to reviews.

Increase the effectiveness of companies marketing activities through an intuitive interface.

Streamline the business decision-making process, making it easier to draw conclusions and respond to market changes.

Adapt the application to different user skill levels — both beginners and advanced analysts.

icon Challenges

The biggest challenge was maintaining a consistent experience while taking advantage of the strengths of each channel. Mobile users expect speed and simplicity, while web users want more control and the ability to manage more complex processes. An additional challenge was developing a component system that works equally well on small screens and in full-screen web dashboards.

icon Solutions

As part of the project, a comprehensive design system was created with components scalable across different devices, which made it possible to maintain full consistency between the mobile and web applications. A two-level information architecture was implemented - simplified for mobile users and more extensive for the web version - ensuring that each platform meets the specific needs of users in its context. Extensive usability research was also conducted across both channels to precisely align feature priorities and simplify key processes such as logging in, making transfers, and managing cards. Transaction flows were unified, contextual personalization of financial modules was introduced, and interface elements were made responsive, resulting in a smooth and predictable experience across all devices.

icon Effects

The result is a cohesive banking ecosystem that allows users to manage their finances conveniently, quickly, and flexibly. The mobile app supports immediate, on-the-go actions, while the web version provides full insight and control over finances. After implementation, an increase in the number of active users was observed, the time required to complete core operations decreased, and the number of navigation-related support requests dropped significantly.

icon My Role

Conducting user needs analysis for both platforms.

Creating the information architecture and user flows for the mobile and web applications.

Developing low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes as well as final UI designs.

Ensuring consistency of the design system across the entire ecosystem.

Collaborating with developers, product owners, and analysts during implementation.

Participating in usability testing and making iterative improvements.
